The idea
I teach in many idyllic settings, all over the country and around the world. But I have long wanted to teach where I actually live, in downtown San Francisco! Once I discovered Sips N Sews, a beautiful sewing workshop with sewing machines and workshop space, (everything but your rotary cutter,) I realized I could offer a class to people who wanted to fly here and not have to bring a machine! We could host a welcoming dinner here at my house. Part of the class could include a little sightseeing trip and a visit to one of our fantastic museums. Attendees could stay either at the nearby Carlton Hotel, a beautiful boutique hotel one-half block from the workshop, or wherever they wish.
